Apps covered by this policy
CAP Maintenance Pilot, SortieTrack, and MountainWorksheet. If a future ezaero app has different data practices, this page will be updated to add a separate app-specific section.
Overview
ezaero, Ltd. ("ezaero," "we," "our," or "us") publishes multiple apps. This Privacy Policy explains the privacy practices that apply across our apps and then provides app-specific details where those practices differ.
You should read the general sections below together with the section for the specific app you use. If there is any conflict between a general section and an app-specific section, the app-specific section controls for that app.
General Principles
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use personal information for third-party advertising.
- We only access device capabilities or data when needed to provide app functionality.
- Where Apple services such as iCloud, CloudKit, the App Store, or device-level permissions are involved, those services are also subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices.
How to Read This Policy by App
CAP Maintenance Pilot
CAP Maintenance Pilot includes maintenance-flight mission records, acceptance worksheets, engine data entry, discrepancy tracking, attached photos, and PDF export. Its privacy practices are described in the CAP Maintenance Pilot section below.
SortieTrack
SortieTrack includes flight tracking, mission records, optional credentials storage, device permissions, and iCloud synchronization. Its privacy practices are described in the SortieTrack section below.
MountainWorksheet
MountainWorksheet is materially different. It is designed to operate without collecting, storing, or sharing personal information with ezaero. Its privacy practices are described in the MountainWorksheet section below.
CAP Maintenance Pilot Privacy Details
Information CAP Maintenance Pilot Collects and Processes
- Mission and aircraft data: Mission type, aircraft details, flight notes, maintenance-flight records, worksheet entries, checklist completion, and related information you enter in the app.
- Engine and operational data: Engine readings, timer-driven data collection points, break-in notes, and other operational values you record during a mission.
- Discrepancy records: Findings, write-ups, comments, and follow-up notes you choose to document in connection with a mission.
- Photos and media: Images you attach as evidence or supporting documentation for discrepancies or worksheet items.
- Generated reports: PDF mission summaries, worksheet exports, and related output produced from the records you enter.
- Preferences and local app state: In-progress mission state and app settings stored on your device to support continuity while you work.
How CAP Maintenance Pilot Uses Data
- Provide guided workflows for aircraft delivery, post-maintenance acceptance flights, and engine break-in sorties.
- Store and organize mission details, worksheet information, checklist completion, discrepancy tracking, and engine data inside the app.
- Generate mission summaries, worksheet output, and PDF exports for sharing or review.
- Maintain in-progress mission state locally on the device so you can resume work without re-entering information.
Where CAP Maintenance Pilot Data Is Stored
- Primary app data is stored locally on your iOS device.
- Photos you capture or attach may be stored locally in the app and may also be stored in your photo library if you use platform photo features.
- Generated PDFs or shared files may be stored in locations you choose through iOS sharing, Files, or other platform features.
- Based on the current planned feature set, ezaero does not maintain a separate first-party backend database for CAP Maintenance Pilot mission records.
Sharing and External Services
- Apple services may process data required for camera access, photo library access, file export, or other iOS sharing and storage features you choose to use.
- Mission records, photos, and generated PDFs are only shared externally when you choose to export, share, or transmit them.
- We do not sell or rent CAP Maintenance Pilot data to advertisers, data brokers, or social platforms.
Your Controls for CAP Maintenance Pilot
- View and edit mission records within the app.
- Delete locally stored missions, worksheets, discrepancy records, and related content from the app.
- Choose whether to attach photos and whether to export or share generated PDFs and reports.
- Change camera or photo permissions in iOS settings.
- Delete the app from your device, understanding that any exported files or photos stored elsewhere remain subject to the platform or destination you chose.
Important Assumption
This section reflects the currently described CAP Maintenance Pilot feature set, including local on-device persistence, photo attachments, and PDF export. If CAP Maintenance Pilot later adds cloud sync, analytics, account creation, external integrations, or other features that transmit user data off the device, this policy should be updated before release of those features.

MountainWorksheet Privacy Details
What MountainWorksheet Collects
MountainWorksheet does not collect personal information from you on behalf of ezaero.
What MountainWorksheet Stores
MountainWorksheet is intended to operate without storing personal information on ezaero servers. If you enter worksheet content in the app, that content is kept local to your device unless you explicitly export, share, or back it up using platform features you control.
What MountainWorksheet Shares
- MountainWorksheet does not share personal information with ezaero.
- MountainWorksheet does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- MountainWorksheet does not use analytics services to profile users.
Important Assumption
This section assumes MountainWorksheet does not include account creation, cloud sync, third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting SDKs beyond platform-default reporting, or other features that transmit user data off the device. If those features are added later, this policy should be updated before release.
Data Security
We rely primarily on platform-provided protections such as iOS device security, the iOS Keychain, transport encryption, and Apple's iCloud security model where applicable. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we design our apps to minimize unnecessary data collection and storage.
Data Retention
Data retention depends on the app and the features you use. For CAP Maintenance Pilot, locally stored mission data generally remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or export or share related files using platform features you control. For SortieTrack, records are generally retained until you delete them, delete the app, or remove them from iCloud or connected systems as applicable. For MountainWorksheet, locally stored content remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or export or back it up using platform features you control.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 as a primary audience. If a child uses one of our apps under the supervision of a parent, school, or organization, the responsible adult or organization should review the app's settings and use of device permissions.
International Use
ezaero is based in the United States. If you use our apps outside the United States, information processed through Apple services or other services you choose to connect may be transferred to and processed in other countries, including the United States, subject to those providers' practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our apps, services, or legal obligations. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page. Material app-specific privacy changes should be reflected in the relevant app section before or when the change goes live.
