Reference for aircraft setup, template purchases, live weight and balance calculations, reports, sync, and troubleshooting.
EZWB is a weight and balance planning app for supported aircraft. The app combines saved aircraft, aircraft templates, an interactive worksheet, a live envelope graph, PDF reports, iCloud sync, and StoreKit template purchases.
The Cessna 152 template is included. Additional aircraft templates can be previewed before purchase, restored later, and synced across devices when iCloud is available.
Templates define station names, arms, fuel properties, and the approved weight and balance envelope for a model or model family.
Bonanza, Comanche, or 182.Template purchases unlock template data; they do not replace the pilot's responsibility to verify the template against the current aircraft POH/AFM.
From the Aircraft tab, tap the add button to create a saved aircraft from an available template.
Station arms can be edited for the saved aircraft. Envelope limits are not editable in the app because they are part of the template's aircraft-specific limit data.
The worksheet screen keeps the graph visible while you adjust loading values. The graph updates immediately as passenger, baggage, fuel, flight time, and burn-rate values change.
The graph and status area indicate whether the current loading is within limits, overweight, out of balance, or has insufficient fuel for the entered plan.
Use Settings to switch between US and metric display values. Templates retain their source data while displayed values convert for the selected unit preference.
Tap the report preview/share button from the worksheet to generate a PDF preview. From the preview you can share or export the report using the system share sheet.
Generated reports are saved to the Reports tab and sorted newest first. Tap a report row to reopen the PDF preview.
The report includes the weight and balance graph, flight summary, station loading table, and the required pilot responsibility disclaimer.
When iCloud is available, EZWB syncs saved aircraft and report records across devices using the app's iCloud container.
Wait briefly after launch while StoreKit checks purchases. If the row still shows restore messaging, tap Restore Purchases in Settings.
Check internet connectivity. Purchased template data is downloaded when needed; once available, the aircraft can be used without an internet connection.
Check iCloud account status on each device, confirm the app is using the same iCloud container, then use Sync Data Again from Settings.
Verify the selected template and station arms against the current aircraft POH/AFM and current weight and balance data. If your aircraft differs materially from the available template, contact support before relying on the output.
